WATCH: Kate The WASP At Gay Pride Parade

Kate the WASP (a.k.a. New York comedian Kate Hendricks) is once again traveling outside her comfort zone. This time, she's checking out the Pride Parade in New York City, a celebration of gay culture and gay rights held every year in Manhattan (among other cities).

As support for gay rights has expanded exponentially lately, Kate felt that it was time to jump on the bandwagon and figure out what's going on with the gays, anyhow. In order to truly understand them, Kate immerses herself into the parade, much like she did in the Puerto Rican Day Parade recently. And it goes just about as well as you'd think.

So did she learn the true meaning of Pride Month? Her heart might be in the right place, but as she puts it, she can't help but embarrass herself. Or as she puts it, "Birkinstock-in-mouth" all day.
